Ramachandran, M.D., Ph.D., D.Sc., FRCP.(Lond).(Edin)., is an internationally acknowledged pivotal figure in the field of contemporary Diabetes Health Care and Research.  Dr. Ramachandrans extensive contributions in the field of diabetes research cover almost all aspects of Epidemiology of Diabetes Mellitus and its complications, approaches and technology in diabetes health care delivery and health economics of diabetes care.  His original research papers in the various areas of diabetology have been published in leading international journals on diabetes care and research. He is the recipient of several international honours and awards. He has been honoured by the Royal College of Physicians of London and Edinburgh by awarding him the Fellowship of their respective colleges.  This recognition was mostly due to his outstanding work in the field of diabetes epidemiology at national and international levels....
